## Description

Finding a break in your pet fence boundary wire is easy with the new PetSafe Wire Break Locator. This wire break detector helps accurately locate full wire breaks in any in-ground fence system. The wire break transmitter sends two unique tones down each side of your dog fence boundary wire. With the hand-held locator, you not only hear each tone sent by the wire break transmitter, but the red and green lights on the locator allow you to see which tone is being received. Wire breaks in the boundary wire are commonly found where the wire exits the house and enters the ground such as at wire splices, where the wires cross sidewalks or driveways, around landscaping and flower beds or in aerated lawns. When the wire break is located, use one of the included wire nuts and gel-filled capsules to repair the broken wire. We recommend repairing the breaks as you go around the boundary. BUY THIS! I have lived anxiously over the last year knowing the fence that I installed will cause me problems. Between grass aeration and weed wackers, a mystery cut could happen anywhere. Most recently, I thought I knew where the cut was. Getting curious, trying to use process of elimination with a few splices. Then I bought a cheap cable tracker (total bust). I was bewildered and my dogs were beginning to figure out the fence isn't on. Ugh!!! Then I came across this and figured I'd spend the money. Holy crap! It took me about 15 minutes to find and bury the cut in a place I'd never suspect! So easy and fast! Then it took about another hour and half (in the GA August heat...) to splice/rebury the wire that I should never have dug out in the first place.... I feel so confident if I ever need to make another repair or track/flag the wire boundaries for digging. This thing is my new favorite gadget and is a MUST HAVE if you're halfway handy!
