From your question, I am guessing you are trying to figure out if you can engaged one lever and then (literally) move 10 feet to the other lever, engage that as well and fold the table. If so, you can do that. I used a six foot desk (top) piece I bought from Ikea with these and it works like a charm. It will screw directly to the wall.
