We used a box cutter. It kinda flew out all crazy so be careful. Next Pop out the screen.BAMM! Now the herbs fall down.This part might make this grinder perfect………. Once the screen and ring are out…Put the ring in the bottom. It goes in pretty easy. Then put the screen on top and this should help separate the bigger herbs from the smaller herbs….. iykykIdk if the last part will actually work tho. We haven’t used the grinder since I did this.
