I've built many things in the past and have always used lags, so I always have some on hand from prior projects. There were a few dings in the paint but I just rattle canned them with some black matte Rustoleum paint and they were good as new. Only recommendation is always use a header. My studs were not 16 on center (old house). So I used a 1x6 header which I cut at 76” to give 2” on each side of track.Had a question and contacted the company by phone.
