The bottom provides some resistance to sliding but it's not perfect. But I didn't want ties since those just end up ripping the pad apart. The material is nice quality and seems like it will hold up well. There's no mention of stain resistance so I sprayed them with an aftermarket protectant and that already save me from a wine spill. These get used daily and I'm about 4 months in to owning them and so far there's no sign of compacting. These were a little more than I wanted to spend but I think they are worth it and should last for many years.

These are pretty thick but comfy. They feel a bit stiff but not overly so. Just enough to provide support so you're not essentially sitting directly on the wood chair. The bottom provides some resistance to sliding but it's not perfect. But I didn't want ties since those just end up ripping the pad apart. The material is nice quality and seems like it will hold up well. There's no mention of stain resistance so I sprayed them with an aftermarket protectant and that already save me from a wine spill. These get used daily and I'm about 4 months in to owning them and so far there's no sign of compacting. These were a little more than I wanted to spend but I think they are worth it and should last for many years.
