A: I... am pretty sure the inquirer meant the skin of the vegetable.... >_>;;

**Q: Is this made in China?**
A: I’m not sure, but oxo products have a great reputation. I have their scale and I love it. Prolly one of the best kitchen scales on the market. This peeler does what it should, and is quite sharp. But it only has one job really. I just use it on carrots. If you want a good standard peeler, Kuhn rikon is the one you want.

**Q: How is it different from a regular Y peeler?**
A: Different type of blade, awesome for slicing the peeling off citrus fruit, doesn’t slice off any of the pith..

**Q: Does this work for left-handers?**
A: I've used it with both left and right hands without any issues.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for salads but cuts are uneven

I was influenced by one the gals on a website to make a Karen’s salad. She was using this julienne and I knew I needed to have it. Giving my honest review- the julienne is a nice addition to my other kitchen gadgets. It is very sharp, an it peels carrots fairly easily. I needed up peeling about ten 10 carrots! Which is a lot and it did a good job. The reason I gave it a 4 star is because I wish it came with a cover for storage. I hate leaving sharp object in my drawer where kids can accidentally grab it. I been putting in ziplock bag to avoid getting hurt. My other down fall of it, it doesn’t make even cuts. Some will be very long, some are short. The hands do get tired holding the carrot from spinning and trying to keep it in one place. Over all, I do like it!
