## Questions & Answers

**Q: Do you guys sell anything else? I was thinking of getting some kind of screen that can cover and block my tv when I'm trying to watch it.**
A: I think they should sell foam plugs you can use to block bad smells. Maybe an aluminum hat to block intrusive thoughts.

**Q: This is just what I need! Do they also make a heater to keep my refrigerators from getting too cold?**
A: Living where it gets really cold, if a freezer gets too cold it can lock up. Of course then you do not need a freezer until it warms up. However lockup can damage the compressor.

**Q: How is this different from a microwave oven? Couldn't I put my wifi router in a microwave oven?**
A: You could but in order for the router to work properly, you need to remove the signal safety plate. There is a little metal plate, usually on the side of the microwave, removing that plate and threading the wire through it will allow the wifi to work, yet still block nearly all other signals and radiation. The downside here is if you do try to cook food in the microwave without the safety plate it will most likely catch on fire or blow up, depending on the wattage.

**Q: Where is the router guard manufactured? what kind of paint is used, if any? is this technically a faraday cage?**
A: Definitely not a Faraday cage. If it were it would block 100% of the signal and it would be grounded as well. See definition below
Faraday cage - Wikipedia
A Faraday cage or Faraday shield is an enclosure used to block electromagnetic fields. A Faraday cage may be formed by a continuous covering of conductive material, or in the case of a Faraday cage, by a mesh of such materials. Faraday cages are named after scientist Michael Faraday, who invented them in 1836.[1]
