A: The rice powder is used as both a filler and a flow agent. Because Vitex is a fruit, it contains sugar, and is naturally sticky. Therefore, in order to make it flow into the capsules, a filler / flow agent needs to be added. We use rice powder because it's amongst the most natural options available.

**Q: Is it liquid capsules? What is the ratio vitex : ricepowder?**
A: The capsules are completely vegan and certified organic, and contain a dry powder inside.

Each capsules contains 500 mg of Vitex. The capsule size is standard "0" size, which generally holds just a little more than 500 mg, depending on the product density. With Vitex, there is generally about 50 mg of rice powder per capsule. The rice powder is used as a flow agent so that the powder can flow into this capsule. A flow agent is necessary because Vitex is somewhat sticky and does not flow without an additive.
