My friend bought this for me and so far I am loving it. There are definite downsides to buying one so cheap, but for the most part, as an inexperienced flipper, it's been well worth the saved money. The knife is very sturdy and has been through many drops to concrete already, after only five days without falling apart or even showing any dents or dings. From what I understand, over time, any knife, cheap or expensive will begin to show wear, but given what I've put this one through so far, I'm surprised it isn't already looking beat.That said, the handles are very rickety and there is a lot of play which can make it difficult to control the momentum of the knife (I might be able to fix this by tightening the screws, but I don't have the correct type of screw driver to try it - having screws instead of pins is another plus, though, for anyone who does have the tool to do their own tune ups). Additionally, the latch has a tendency to flop around and get in the way during tricks, and having the pocket clip on the safe handle rather than the bite handle can be a little inconvenient and interfere with your grip during tricks.Still, it's fairly comfortable to use for a beginner who hasn't experienced better knives, and the look of it is really pretty. Also, the training edge is harsh, but not sharp enough to do any cutting damage, which is perfect for encouraging you to do better without being too punishing in my opinion. I wouldn't recommend this for someone who is used to better balisongs, but for a beginner who is looking to get a taste before spending bigger money, I think it's a great choice.
