Holding the mouse is not very comfortable due to the fact when the fore and middle fingers are in position, the ring finger and pinky have to be moved sideways as they are jammed against the mousemat, which in turn pushes the hand upwards, so the middle finger then loses contact with the right mouse button. Besides this, unless you have an abnormally long and flexible thumb, you can't easily reach the two buttons on the left of the mouse unless you move your hand to the top. In practise, the only way to use the mouse without a lot of discomfort is to hold it with your hand over the top, palm facing downwards, and jiggle your hand around to press the appropriate buttons, which negates the idea of having an upright mouse rather the a conventional lay-flat type.I rather think that instead of helping to reduce the risk of developing RSI, this beast is more likely to increase the risk. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great mouse *by D***A on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 September 2019* This is the third vertical ergonomic mouse I tried and the first to work reliably.It is comfortable to hold, glides smoothly across my desk and only requires a light touch to click the buttons. It worked out of the box and kept working.By contrast, I bought two cheaper models before this one and they kept stopping working.
